                          Have a Seat Beacon

                          Picture
Last year Peace Action generously donated 40 metal folding chairs to ROCKiT for use at our events. They are sturdy brown chairs that could use a little love.

We challenge you to make difference for the audiences at our events. Contact Us to volunteer to paint a chair for BEACON.

To inspire you here is our first ART Chair painted by Kathleen McHugh.

Kathleen visited the Garden House, picked up this chair then discribed her work in an email.

"OK- When I went into the building, I felt like Victorian gardens and fairies so that is what I did. First time I ever tried to be victorian.... but it seemed like little girls and tea time in the room (even if it's used for life drawing etc., ) so I went with that. The happy hr toddlers are the audience for the chair.
                          "

She delivered the completed Chair to June's Hi-Chair Happy Hour to much praise and appreciation.

                          Thank you K
