The Barn Owls are an all gal old time group from Seattle. The ladies play traditional fiddle tunes for squares and contras, and swap singing lead and three-part harmonies on traditional and original songs. The gals’ hearty but sweet take on old time music will leave you humming, dancing, or hooting the night away.
Band members Brittany, Hanna, and Kate are a versatile trio bursting with heartfelt tunes sure to sweep you off your feet! Brittany “plays the fiddle like nothing you’ve ever seen before.” Hanna’s “distinct Appalachian style will instantly transport you to a Mt. Airy Fiddler’s Convention campsite—2 am—star-filled sky.” Kate’s “sense of rhythm and dynamics take you to a time where ol’ square and fiddly tunes were the life of the party.”
Na Hila Hila Boys - Sunday, February 2
Superbowl Sunday Hawaiian Style! The Na Hila Hila Boys do traditional Hawaiian music with Lap steel, 6 & 12 string guitars, and ukeleles. No songs are newer than 50 years, some are more than 200 years old!
