Celebrate Fall with food, art, music, and dance!

  We're pressing apple cider with apples grown on Beacon Hill! Bring a jug/jar pitcher to take some home, Free!

Free pumpkins while they last! starting at 2pm 
 Harvest comes in many flavors, all are welcome!

2pm till Dark 

Apple Cider Pressing - locally grown apples and sharing fresh cider with the neighbors all afternoon, as long as they last. If you have extra home grown apples you would like to share, bring them down and join the fun! Thanks to Jose Rizal Park Orchard for the 300 pounds of apples and City Fruit for the loan of the cider press. You can help chop, and pasteurize if you want to! 

El Centro de la Raza Food Bank - accepts donations of food.

Beacon Food Forest - demonstrates a "fruit tree guild", that's a group of plants that create a symbiotic food growing environment.

Beacon Hill Garden Club - invites interested folks to become charter members

Rockit Space Bake Sale - Contact us to donate or take a short shift selling tasty baked goods to the neighbors!

Food Vendors - Gourmet Your Way is selling hamburgers, hotdogs, lumpia and veggie pancit!

2-5pm Create an Art Chair

Kathleen McHugh leads all ages in creating unique patterns in colorful vinyl applique. No experience required.

Kids stories and songs with Suzanne & folk guitar & vocals by Hank!

3pm Manimou Camara in the pear tree yard

Outdoor stage  African  harvest rhythms.

3:45pm Jack LeNoir in the gazebo, Stanislove in the pear tree yard

Original guitar & vocals from Jack and Stanislove brings roots music and originals on bottleneck Dobro and an acoustic guitar!

4:15pm Urtaa Galtulga in the ballroom

Mongolian Horse Head Fiddle 

5:15pm Break Dance in the ballroom

Jefferson Community Center based break dance crews bring it to Garden House.

6:00pm Mariachi Azteca Seattle in the ballroom

Traditional mariachi, vocals, guitar and horns

7-9pm Barn Dance! in the ballroom

The band for the Harvest Fair Barn  Dance is "Small Time String Band"(Oliver Abrahamson on fiddle, Eli Abrahamson on banjo, Terrie Abrahamson on guitar, and Danny Abrahamson on bass), with Sherry Nevins calling dances that are fun for the whole family - no lessons or experience needed!
