A few years ago, thanks to Fred Miller, Peace Action of Washington donated several folding chairs to ROCKiT Community Arts. We have made good use of them at "Beacon Rocks!" events and other events on Beacon Hill, most recently for events at the Garden House. But these chairs have been used outdoors in several different kinds of weather and were in need of some maintenance for long term use. And this lead to an art project...

Fulgencio Lazo led the workshops at Jefferson Community Center to repaint our chairs in an artistic manner.
